Web technologies for the good guys.

About Nonprofitable.org

We're a small group of web developers, project managers, designers, information architects, and other geeks with a passion for the do-gooder sector. All of us have years of experience volunteering as Americorps VISTA fellows, working as nonprofit program staff, or serving as board members; we know your world really well.

Nonprofitable.org exists to build better, more affordable websites, databases, and web applications for people who are making the world a better place. Our clients are nonprofits, NGOs, community groups, individuals, and small businesses. We believe in our work, and our only real selection criteria is that you believe in yours. You're more likely to see us volunteering at a client's soup kitchen or leading a web development workshop at a local community center than hanging out at a vendor convention downtown.

This makes us a little different from your last web design consultant. We're mission-driven, and our focus is on figuring out how technology can help you achieve your goals, not on making a sale. That means we'll frequently suggest technology solutions you may not have considered. It also means we'll let you know if your ideas are out of your budget range, or if they're unlikely to help your mission. We're more likely to ask you questions to help plan your project than bore you with a sales pitch on a powerpoint presentation. We've handled projects ranging from $500 to $.75M, so chances are we'll be able to build something in your budget range that gets the job done.

Give us a call if you'd like to chat. We'll be posting staff bios in this space soon.
